Our Family Is Growing, Meet Dr. Dana Ambler…
1. What city were you born in?
“Mount Holly, New Jersey”
2. Where did you grow up and what was it like there?
“I grew up in Mount Laurel, NJ – just outside of Philadelphia. I was very athletic. As a kid I played soccer, swam, and loved being outdoors.”
3. What do you like to do in your spare time now?
“I still enjoy being outdoors: hiking and biking with my family. I have two little boys ages 5 & 7 and they keep me very busy at home. Not much has changed I still enjoy soccer, swimming, and reading.”
4. Why did you decide to go into fertility?
“Early on in my career, I was influenced to become a fertility doctor by a mentor who was a fertility physician while I was in undergrad. Fertility is an area of medicine that incorporates art and science… it is an ever evolving/ever changing field. Every patient must be approached as unique, there is no algorithm, and treatment must be tailored to fit each individual.”
5.What is the most challenging aspect of being a fertility Doctor?
“Fertility treatment can be an emotional time for couples. Trying to help them navigate the stress, the anxiety, and everything in between can be difficult.6. What is the most rewarding aspect of your career?

“Getting to know the couple and helping them build a family….helping a couple become parents is an extremely enjoyable moment.”
7. What would you like to tell new prospective patients considering infertility treatment?
“Our practice allows patients to receive holistic, individualized, tailored care. We center our practice on the mind, body, and the soul. Emotional, fertility, and medical aspects are all fulfilled here.”
8. Why would a prospective patient choose your practice?
“ We are an intimate practice, offering a boutique fertility experience,” This allows the patient more autonomy and gives them the opportunity to have a larger voice during their fertility care. We do not want a couple to be forced to do fertility treatment- we want them to choose what works for them.”
